A2 Acrylics are specially designed for the needs of serious art students and hobby painters who wish to avoid the expense of buying top end professional artists colours whilst they are learning – however they would still like a high quality acrylic that contains light fast pigments. A2 is versatile, has a very high pigment load and a heavy bodied consistency providing rich impasto effects through to luminous paint washes and glazes.

CHROMACRYL ACRYLIC

Chromacryl has set the benchmark for student acrylic paint since 1965. Chromacryl is a high quality and versatile student grade acrylic paint that comes in a variety of sizes; 75mL, 250mL, 1 Litre and 2 Litres. It promotes the development of varied and sophisticated adult painting techniques, because it has the body and consistency of an expert artist’s acrylic. Chromacryl Student Acrylics:

Chromacryl Fluid concentrate offers 16 beautiful matte colours. These fluid paints dry to a velvety matte finish and have been described as ‘beautifully vibrant and matte’. CHROMA 2

Chroma 2 is the perfect paint for young expressionists wanting to explore a vast array of painting, printing and craft possibilities. It is a versatile paint with exceptional covering power. It has a thick and creamy consistency with intense pigment loading. Chroma 2 is rich in colour and satisfying to use for young students, and parents will appreciate the washability of this new formula!

Chroma 2:

  • has exceptional coverage power, being ideal for works on black card, cardboard etc,
  • is ideal for silk screen printing, lino block and cardboard block printing,
  • is soluble, meaning it can be reopened after it’s dry for easy clean up,
  • cleans from all equipment, even screens or printing rollers clogged with dry ‘Chroma 2’. Simply clean up by soaking in plain water,
  • is able to be used in conjunction with Chromacryl Clear gel Medium to reduce colour intensity without adding white,
  • has a bodied consistency that is ideal for easy clean-up,
  • is ideal for Monotype printing when used in conjunction with Chromacryl Clear Gel Medium. Apply generously to a glass or plastic surface to prepare for monotypes and then paint into the wet Clear Gel Medium.
